We’re talking about Books That Make You Okay With Crankiness

Everyone’s cranky right now. We’ve been cooped up, people we live with are driving us nuts, it’s cold, the holidays are gone and we’ve got long to go before a vaccine kicks in. The political landscape is also making some people downright crank-a-sauruses! Or something.

With all the self-help books, one that says it’s okay to be cranky is quite refreshing.

Here comes Steven Joseph (again!), author of “The Crankatsuris Method: A Grownup Guide to Effective Crankiness”, a book that flips crankiness on its head. It comes in on the heels of Steven’s wildly popular children’s book, “The Last Surviving Dinosaur: The TyrantoCrankaTsuris”.

This is Steven Joseph’s second appearance on the show. He’s a first generation American, son of a Holocaust Survivor, a speaker, negotiator, attorney and NYC and Boston Marathon runner.

He is also a humorist who’s spent 28 years as a partner with therapists, a lifetime of schuckling at synagogues, as well as years sitting on a cushion staring at the white wall at the Village Zendo. He’s still smart enough, though, to know that he hasn’t figured everything out – except, of course, for crankiness.
