We’re talking about Books That Make You Examine the 1970s – When Women Thought They Had to be Perfect to Succeed
What was it like for young women in the early seventies to encounter new opportunities while having to overcome old prejudices? Why do high school and college school reunions force many of us to reconcile with our past and our current lives?
Our guest author today, Renaji West, explores such sticky scenarios and histories in her novel “Death by Chaos”. West’s page-turner is a mystery that explores not just secrets, cover-ups, and a murder, but the relationships women can develop.
In addition to being an author, she is a dramatic arts educator, playwright, and for ten years was a professional belly-dancer. She wrote and produced a short film, “Eli’s Run,” that debuted at the Oceanside Film Festival.
