Larry Carlson is the author of “Avandell—Reimaging the Dementia Experience” by Larry Carlson addresses these very questions. Before becoming the (now retired) President and CEO of United Methodist Communities, Larry worked for two faith-based, non-profit organizations: the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, and the United Church of Christ. He was also Director of Housing at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged in Boston.
