Books That Make You Want to Heal the World of Climate Change
As the climate crisis progresses and we see more catastrophes from rising temperatures, damaged ecosystems, droughts, rising sea levels and so much more, we wonder what we can do.
Author and engineer E. A. Smiroldo uses real science in her debut novel “The Silent Count”, a sci-fi story novel about climate change that blends her expertise blends with real-world issues.
A lifelong resident of Washington DC, Smiroldo has seen how politics corrupts and skews human perception and morality. She understands all too well how close humankind is to the brink of real climate catastrophe, and she is determined to emphasize how vital it is for us to come together for ourselves and the planet.
A. Smiroldo is a nuclear engineer with a BS in engineering. She’s also a Music Association Award-nominated singer-songwriter, and is the recipient of prizes in writing competitions from the Bethesda Literary Festival and the International Screenwriters' Dig, the latter of which gave her the chance to option a screenplay treatment with X-Ray Media.
