Epic fantasy is something grand and visionary which sends us to a new world in time and space which may bear similarities to our own. Usually, though, legends, myth and magic set the stage.
Today, we speak with Ilana C. Myer, author of “Last Song Before Night”, her debut novel, which was followed by “Fire Dance” and “The Poet King”.
Myer has worked as a journalist in Jerusalem as well as a cultural critic for multiple publications. Under the alias Ilana Teitelbaum, she has written book reviews and critical essays for The Globe and Mail, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Salon, and the Huffington Post.
