Books That Make You Understand What To Do When Mommy Is Busy
While many children’s books often full of morals, adventures and learning activities, there are also those that address more ordinary, everyday matters such as, how might kids keep themselves busy when Mommy is occupied? Because, let’s face it: these days, both parents are likely to be quite busy.
Junyi Zhang—or April—has released a book: “When Mommy's Busy”, about a girl named Bubu who learns how to play by herself when Mommy and Daddy are busy. April feels it is important for kids as well as grown-ups (everyone, really), to learn how to enjoy solitude.
A Los Angeles-based animation background designer, illustrator, concept artist and storyteller, April currently works at Roughdraft Studios. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from China Academy of Art, and an animation MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. She's worked in Visual Development in animation TV, games, and has additional experience working on books, short films, commercials and other projects.
